Empowering Voters - Defending Democracy

Civic Engagement

Good Trouble Lives ON was a national day of action.

Good Trouble

On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, LWVMC joined others taking action across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.  The John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act would restore the federal government’s ability to review changes to voting laws that could disenfranchise voters and ensures transparency in the electoral process.  Join us in promoting this legislation!
