The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County, Maryland is sponsoring a forum for District 3 and At-Large candidates for the Montgomery County Board of Elections on October 14 at 7 p.m. at the Montgomery Community Television, Inc. studio in Rockville, Maryland.
At-Large Candidates: Brenda Diaz and Omar Lazo
District 3 Candidates: Sally McCarthy and Cassandra Sung
Moderator: Sonya Laurence Green is a veteran journalist and editor who most recently served as Supervisory Assignments Editor in the Voice of America (VOA) News Center in Washington, D.C.
Register to Attend in Person: Members of the public are invited to participate in-person in the studio audience. Register on this page (see below) to attend in person at the Montgomery Community Television, Inc. Studio in Rockville, MD. When you complete your registration, you will receive an email confirmation that will serve as your ticket. Seating is limited, please register below no later than October 6, 2026! You will receive an email confirmation to use as your ticket. Registration to attend in-person will close when seating capacity is filled or no later than October 6. The Forum begins at 7 p.m. Live audience members must be seated by 6:45 p.m. Please arrive early to be sure you have time to clear security.
