 How to Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County. The League's success depends on the good work and financial support of its volunteers. All volunteer opportunities are time limited and project oriented so you can let us know what works for you. We are not affiliated with any political party and do not endorse candidates.

Here are some ways that you can get involved!

*Do you have a couple of hours to help people register to vote, support LWVMC outreach, Election Day services or other LWVMC activities? Check out Volunteering to find opportunities to volunteer for events at specific dates and times.   (Members, please log in to see more opportunities and to sign up!)

*We also seek members to volunteer for short-term projects or to perform administrative tasks on an ongoing basis. Some of these opportunities may require only one or two hours monthly. Many can be performed remotely and on your own schedule.  Check out Help Wanted!

*To learn more about opportunities to support our Voter Services, members can sign up for one of the Volunteering Interest Groups (here), or contact Caren Ginsberg or Ralph Watkins, Co-Chairs of the Making Democracy Work Committee, mdw@lwvmocomd.org.

OR
Join one of the League's Resource Committees, which study and monitor local county government. Learn more at  Committees.
